On this approximately 30 kilometer long bike tour you can expect some curiosities that you probably would not have expected in the Franconian Switzerland. As usual, on the other hand, you will drive over fantastic trails in a wonderful landscape and enjoy the idyll of one of the oldest and most popular holiday regions in Germany.Just a few meters after starting in the cozy village of Thuisbrunn, you'll wonder if you're still right when you're past a quaint lamage hideaway with a small café. If you like, you can pet the Andes Camels - but you better leave the bike glasses if it gets wet! As strange as this tour begins, it continues. A little later, you pass a magnificent baroque garden - the private estate of a retired lawyer with an extraordinary hobby. Especially at Easter, the Bieberbacher well is worth a stop: He has even made it into the Guinness Book of Records, because it was decorated with 11,108 hand-painted Easter eggs.If you see three distinctive crags on a hill, you have not lost your way. The "Three Peaks" are quite similar to their namesakes in the Dolomites. Back in Thuisbrunn, you will not be surprised that the beer specialty of the small town has a rather unusual name. If you like, you can toast with a moose brew here. After all, the Franconian beer has been so successful that it has been awarded several times at the European Beer Star Award. The starting point of the tour is best reached by car. If you want to enjoy Franconian Switzerland from its quiet side, it's worth it to stay here for a while. And if the tour here and there was a bit strange, we have here an extraordinary tip for a truly idyllic accommodation: How about a lodging in a shepherd car? Nice tour, but unfortunately only very few trail sections. There is also an ascent on the tour that cannot be ridden - here you have to carry the bike about 200m up the mountain!
