Strictly speaking, the Magfall Mountains belong only to the Bavarian Prealps - but that does not mean that you can not experience first-class alpine adventures here. We've put together a two-day huts tour that will take you to the most scenic peaks and the most exciting rutted paths. From Lenggries you climb through the Hirschbachtal to the Kampen. Here you cross all three summits on the ridge path and spend the night in the Lenggrieser hut. On the second day we lead you over a partially exposed ridge to the Tegernsee hut and finally past the Sonnberg pasture into the valley.Starting point of the first stage is the station Lenggries, which is approached from Munich by the trains of the Bavarian Oberlandbahn (meridian-bob-brb.de). After a short walk through the city, the route takes you to lush meadows.Soon it goes on the bank of the Hirsch Bach into dense forest and thus into the Hirschbachtal. The path continues to rise gently, but soon you can already see the Kampenwand high above the treetops. After about two and a half hours, the broad hiking trail ends at a crossroads and turns into a mountain path. Now you climb quite steeply to the first summit of the Kampenwand: the Ochsenkamp.Via the partially exposed but cable-inscribed summit ridge, you hike across the Auerkamp and the Spitzkamp to the Seekarkreuz. From here it goes in serpentines downhill to Lenggrieser hut.
