  • Hi Dan, thx for plotting the route. I was planning on riding the route myself, still am, but noticed that some websites mention the fact that route 72, south of sellafield station, is suspended. Did you take this into account? Because I'm still looking for a good work-around, other than taking the train 😃

  • Hi this route does not take into account the route closure. Looking at the map, you could consider leaving the official route after Beckermet, taking Nursery Road to High Godderthwaite and then joining the Lakes & Dales Loop cycle route to Gosforth (via main road or back lanes) and then taking
