If the day is already advanced and you still feel like moving, then this short round is just right for you. A few beautiful trails and a hearty snack on the Alm - can a day end better? In this case, you are even spoiled for choice because our route takes you straight to three cozy mountain restaurants. And all you have to do is lace up your running shoes, ride the Hungerburgbahn for a few yards, and run. From the valley station of the Seegrubenbahn, your run starts on the Arzleralmweg, which brings you straight to the first alp of the day. If you have not eaten yet, here's your chance to get you up for the run. Then it continues, under the mountain railway and up to the highest point of the run: At around 1,500 meters altitude, you have earned yourself a little breather in the Höttinger Alm. The view up here is so grand that it will be hard for you to keep walking. If the delicious food and soft drinks do the rest, the cozy berths up here could make a great Plan-B. Or you get upset and motivate yourself with the prospect that it only goes downhill and in the Umbrüggler Alm already calls the next stop. From there it is really not far to the city center of Innsbruck. To get to the starting point of the round you can easily get on the Hungerburgbahn. The short mountain railway is, so to speak, the entrance portal to the Karwendel and brings you directly from the city center to the foot of the Nordkette. The train operates from Monday to Friday from 7am to 7.30pm and on Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays from 8am to 7.30pm.
