There is a strange loop on the way (89.6 mi) towards Ásbjarnarstadir.
Yes, indeed. This is a known loop as currently there is a road construction on this part and the contractor has closed down few meters of the road. Traffic is directed through this loop at the moment. We are not sure if this construction will be done by the 20th of August. We will keep all participants…

We can now confirm that this strange detour is no longer part of the course. The road construction is still going on but the detour has been removed.
