adidas TERREX planned a run.
February 26, 2019
With this route you connect two of the most beautiful trail areas of Berlin: the Murellenberge and Grunewald with its Teufelsberg. The 22-kilometer route is a real challenge in the countryside and yet virtually in the middle of Berlin. The route is designed as "Eight", so you can easily divide it into two separate routes.Your run starts at the S-Bahn station Pichelsberg, alternatively, you can park your car on one of the numerous parking lots around the Olympic Stadium. Now you'll first get to know the Murellen mountains, which are not for nothing known as the nature reserve Murellenschlucht: The Murellenschlucht is one of the most impressive biotopes in Berlin and offers pure nature just ten minutes from the Kurfürstendamm! The pros of Herta BSC also like that: Right next door is the stadium - it's quite possible that the team will run into you during running training. After the first, approximately 7.5 kilometer long part of the run "you make your way" into the Grunewald. The 3,000 hectare forest area in the west of Berlin is perfect for running. Uphill, downhill, over forest trails and sand trails and sometimes down to the banks of the Havel - here is provided for variety. The highlight here is of course the run high on the Teufelsberg: The rubble mountain is about 120 meters high and thus the second highest elevation of the urban area. Above you can enjoy the great view and look forward to the last sandy trails that bring you back to the starting point of the tour.
