Running Highlight (Segment)
adidas TERREX planned a run.
February 26, 2019
South-east of Berlin lies the trail paradise of Müggelberge. Almost seven square kilometers comprises the small, wooded ridge, which in addition to the small Müggelberg (88.3 meters) and the large Müggelberg (114.7 m) is home - after all, Berlin's highest, of course elevation. With the Müggelsee, the Müggelturm, 243 steps that lead up there and beautiful trails that connect everything, you'll find great conditions here for challenging or enjoyable running sessions just outside the city. This approximately 12-kilometer run is an example of the many variations that the Müggelberge offers you. There are countless wild trails, trails and paths that you can combine as you wish - getting lost is almost impossible. To get to the Müggelbergen, you can take the S-Bahn to Friedrichshagen. From there you are fast on the shores of Müggelsee. Of course it is easier with the car, which you can park in the small parking lot, where this run starts. Now you start a varied up and down. You run up a few steep slopes, enjoy relaxing passages and can even cool your feet in the water, if you take a break on the beach of the Long Lake. If you still have power after that, you just walk the 243 steps up to the Müggelturm! If you prefer a peaceful end to the tour, you can also relax on the banks of the Müggelsee, which is just a few hundred meters from the parking lot where you started.
