This beautiful day will make you travel in more ways than one. Geographically speaking, you will radically change the scenery when crossing the Durance. The discovery of the region around the Gorges du Verdon is a delight. You will gradually head towards the Var hinterland and reach its main town, and your end of the day: Draguignan.Lake Esparron which is near the Gorges du Verdon has this blue, turquoise green color so characteristic of the waters of this wild river. The Sillans waterfall which is located halfway will offer you the opportunity to take advantage of this bucolic and refreshing setting to take a lunch break in the village of Sillans-la-Cascade.Before arriving in Draguignan, the route follows the cross roads to make you discover the very beautiful dolmen known as "the stone of the fairy".Draguignan, which was the former administrative capital of the Var until 1974, is a town which has all the necessary shops and services. It is the birthplace of a great traveler, botanist and writer of the 19th century: Claude Gay.A very beautiful mural pays homage to the child of the country.
