From Walmendingerhorn on this promising tightrope walk across the Starzeljoch down to the densely wooded Duratal. You need sure-footedness for the tour. The popular ski tour mountain Grünhorn is an insider tip in summer. The Grünhorn does not bear its name for nothing: the short ascent to the Grasberg over the Südgrat is steep, but worth it - from an altitude of 2,039 meters you can see across to the Bregenz Forest and the Lake Constance region. With good visibility, the big Swiss summits are getting closer. The Walmendingerhornbahn takes you to the mountain of the same name. A short descent below the panoramic lift leads you onto the ridge. With light up and down, you will reach the mostly spacious ridge of Muttelbergkopf and Ochsenhofer Köpfe. At the Ochsenhofer Scharte crosses the path that leads from the Schwarzwassertal up into the gap. Via the short south ridge, you climb up to the Grünhorn summit. From here you walk to the Starzeljoch, past the uncultivated Starzelalpe and finally down in narrow serpentines into the densely wooded Duratal. The goal of the tour is Baad.

Just a great way, but requires a lot of skill.
