West of Lake Starnberg, the Maisinger Bach has dug over many millennia a wildly romantic gorge in the dense forest. From Starnberg you can cross the gorge on well-developed hiking trails, visit the Maisinger lake and enjoy the magnificent view over Lake Starnberg right up to the Alps.

Our house and farm tour. Great with children, ours marched alone from the age of 4. Very suitable for strollers. Great in every season.
A must: walk through to the Gasthof am Maisinger See and buy the kids schnitzel / fries. Nice playground. In summer it is worth taking a dip in the lake.
