the white thing with the sticker on it is a pumpkin that grows by the wayside. Some prankster stuck the sticker on it, I suspect it comes from a nearby post that marks the gas pipe of the gas union. I'm usually good at this kind of joke, but obviously someone was faster this time. 😉

Our plan was actually to continue in the direction of Mitterode and then turn off to Bischhausen. The path leads partly through overgrown paths, and there is really more suitable weather for that!
