The round trip for the whole family leads almost completely on paved paths through the beautiful Chiemsee-Chiemgau region. Low altitude differences make cycling a pleasure and the fantastic views of the mountains and the proximity to the Chiemsee provide the icing on the cake.Let's start the approximately 33-kilometer bike ride in Seebruck am Chiemsee. There you first cross the Alz and then cycle past a Celtic farmstead, through a beautiful field and meadow landscape. In Truchtlaching you can take a break for a while and cool off in the clear water of the Alz. Afterwards you follow the bike path that meanders through the slightly undulating landscape. Halfway there you reach Traunreut, where you can recharge your batteries during a leisurely lunch break in one of the restaurants or cafés.Freshly fortified, you will then head back to the starting point. The route takes you past meadows and fields, takes you through cool forest and finally to the shores of Lake Chiemsee. Along the flat stretch along the water you can enjoy the last kilometers of the bike ride. On the way, you can let your eyes wander over the lake and stop again and again to enjoy the idyll of Lake Chiemsee.

The route is nice, but not a “highlight”. She's a little boring. For example, there are no inviting cafés or other localities on the whole route, except directly on the lake. There are hardly any particularly scenic spots. And you could certainly save yourself the distances along busy roads ...
