It was a very nice tour and luckily with the weather, it would not have been raining. Nice that you have taken pictures!

Bodetal is only partially mobile, right?

Yes and no. In summer, it is easier to do everything in winter heavier, but with a good driving technique and buzzing in the legs (for the technical uphill parts) to create. Most of them will probably not drive at the first attempt, so bring some time. I think all of us have at least once gone over the handlebars. If you are not in a good mood technically, you should look at it on a dry day and without ambition. But then it's not so nice and empty and a nice cloudy autumn landscape has something.
Oh, do not ride on main hiking days, with many walkers it will be no pleasure.

Thank you very much for your feedback. I also think that you should drive the route in any case, if at all, out of peak hours (summer / weekend).
For my part, the Bodetal have been on my list for some time - but I prefer to hike it :-).

Hiking is also very nice there, but also avoid the "folk walking days", it is best to be there during the week. Look in the Kästetal (is a small side valley, good to find on Komoot) in: very old yews (altdt. Boxes), a waterfall, strange rock formations and quite wild nature. It's best to drive into the corner for a few days, there's the Teufelsmauer, Quedlinburg and so on ... so pretty much to discover. If you need planning help, just ask.

You mean the stone pool before the last turn in the Serpentienen at the Bodekessel. Yes, it was a snap right away. For the heavy point in Rt. Treseburg was overbuilt with a staircase, too bad.
Happy, who may call this his hometrail.

Yes, that's what I mean. And yes "finally" a staircase :-). I hated the job for decades. "Hometrail" now only at the WE's when at home. There are so many nice things at home!

Exactly, so we have this Sunday also QLB round (Langenstein, grandfather, city arms Hamburg, Altenburgswarte ...) on the plan. Almost the same area and yet very different. Yes, it's a very nice corner.
