Also on the fourth stage of the Saarland cycle path a varied up and down waiting for you. 620 meters in altitude you have to erradeln - quite challenging but feasible, because in the end are the climbs 720 meters of relaxing downhill opposite. Picturesque pause stations and always beautiful sights make sure that you find enough opportunities to breathe deeply. The tour starts at the idyllic Bostalsee. From here it goes directly up to the Peterberg. After the driveway, you are warm and can relax with a beautiful view that extends far into the country, a little. Then you roll down a bit relaxed downhill. On quiet roads and secluded dirt roads you come down to Otzenhausen, where a long visit to Keltenpark with a break at the Nonnweiler reservoir offers. Now you follow the road along the Prims to Primstal and to Wadem. As the prim snakes its way through its beautiful valley in many loops, you enjoy a steady slope on the road that ends only when you leave the river. If you can see the castle Dagstuhl, it is time and you follow the road towards Wadem, Morscholz and Weiskirchen. Here you can relax a bit on the beautiful Kurparkweiher and treat yourself to a snack in the village. On beautiful cycle paths and quiet side roads you then cycle towards the final destination. Shortly before Losheim am See you will pass the station Niederlosheim. Here is a small stop, because with a bit of luck, you can take a look at the historic railways of the museum railroad club Losheim am See. Especially nice to see are the two steam locomotives, with which you can even take an exit on some days. Alternatively, you can end the day with a short walk to the reservoir Losheim and enjoy the view of the lake and a delicious meal in the local brewery. Directly on the lake there is also a ADFC certified bed + bike accommodation, as well as a bed + bike campsite.Apart from the historic train runs from Losheim no train. But you have connection via the Regiobuslinie R1 to Merzig, from where you can take for example the train to Saarbrücken. From 9 o'clock you can (assuming there is space), take your bike for free, even on weekends and public holidays. It used to be possible to take bicycles with you for the price of a children's ticket.
