On the way from St. Wendel to Bostalsee a varied up and down awaits you, which offers a few quite demanding climbs. The beautiful landscape of the Saar-Hunsrück nature park, however, weighs in on all efforts and offers beautiful opportunities for rest along the way. Take a break more often, sit on a bench and let your eyes wander - then it's only half as exhausting. From the start of the third stage in St. Wendel you first cycle a few kilometers out of town, until you are back on the official Saarland cycle path. St. Wendel is easily accessible and offers many accommodations, which is why we have chosen the beautiful city as the starting point for today's stage. After leaving a few sleepy villages behind you, a real highlight awaits you in Oberkirchen. The railways used to rattle over the impressive valley bridge, today you can enjoy a fantastic view from the railway path.Through the Saar-Hunsrück Nature Park, you now head for the idyllic stage destination, the Bostalsee. The dreamy is located in the middle of St. Wendel Land, as a popular holiday region you will still find many accommodations, such as the comfortable campsite on the lake or the Center Park on the opposite shore.Immediately at the lake there is no train station. If you want to finish your ride on the Saarland cycle path after this stage, you can take the train home in the Türkis mill, which is about six kilometers away.
