Welcome to the Wartberg! In these wonderful vineyards you can find out what it means to make fine wines. The almost six-kilometer-long Wein Panorama Weg includes a total of 24 stations, which takes you once into the endless vineyards and back again and is completely wheelchair and pram-friendly.The tour starts at the historic tree press at the foot of the Wartberg. It is one of the largest and oldest wine presses in Germany and therefore the ideal introduction to an impressive wine hike. And this is how you set off into the vineyards: On your way around the Wartberg, you will not only find exciting information about viticulture, cultural and natural landscapes, but also magnificent views and picturesque resting places. After more than half of the tour, it opens up imposingly in front of you: the Wartberg tower on the summit of the Wartberg. You should accept the stairs that lead to its highest point, because a magnificent panorama of the surrounding area awaits you at the top. Before you continue hiking, you can also stop off at the Wartberg high-altitude restaurant. In general, as it should be for a real wine hike, you can expect numerous taverns and other refreshment stops on this tour. Shortly before you get back to your starting point, you can round off the tour with a visit to the viticulture exhibition.
