Along the Lahn you cycle out of Gießen. At the gates of the city, you will be greeted by beautiful fields and meadows, which lead you to a small hill just off the Lahn. From here you have a wonderful view over the wide landscape. Back on the river you cycle on a flat stretch through the lush green meadows…
The route between Wetzlar and Weilburg is not recommended, very noisy, on country roads, at most a few paved dirt roads, hardly on the Lahn or nature reserve with observation post.
