I would also strongly recommend not to turn east in Walpersdorf. The “Walpersdorfer Wand” awaits you here, and as Vera has already written: It is extremely steep. Then it is better to continue on the main road in the direction of Siegquelle and then right on the Eisenstrasse to the Lahnhof.
For the Siegen Lahnquelle route, I was a little more lazy when traveling by public transport.
But then drove the entire Lahntal cycle path. Very nice.
