  • Dietmar, weine nicht wenn der Regen fällt....

Nice flat tour with mainly good, low traffic lanes. Only around Black Water as a single trail with roots and deep sand. The landscape is very varied. River floodplains, dredging lakes, Rhine arms, pastures, fields and extensive mixed forests alternate. When you come from a nearby dump with heavy industry, like us, you feel like you're on another planet. It's really something to suck in fermented fresh air in autumn with widened nostrils. The Rhine showed extreme low water, the sun was pale, the sky was cloudless, but a bit hazy and the windmills stood still. The storks had already moved to the south, but there were thousands of geese in the Rhine meadows and on the altars. We drove the round clockwise. If you prefer to go to the second half of the turn, you should go the other way around, because in rheinnähe there are more farmers' cafes.
