Today is the last stage of the Werratal cycle path, which will take you to the meeting of the rivers to Hann. Münden leads. From Eschwege you first cycle through wide landscape and then follow the Werra into a narrower valley, which is lined with lovely wooded hills. Here you cycle along their countless loops and come through pretty half-timbered towns like Allendorf or Witzenhausen. In the charming town centers you will find numerous restaurants and cafes for leisurely breaks, but also along the bike path invite relaxed beer gardens to one or the other rest. The last kilometers of the bike ride you drive through a wild and romantic forest right on the banks of the Werra. Here you can enjoy nature to the fullest again and slowly say goodbye to the river that has taken you through so many kilometers through this wonderfully varied landscape. Because soon you roll into the stage Hann. Münden, where the Werra meets the Fulda and both united as Weser continue their way towards the North Sea. If you want to pack at this point, you have the opportunity to continue cycling on the Weser bike path. Otherwise you can in Hann. Münden at the station hop on a train and drive home - after a final stroll through the beautiful old town, of course.
