Schönefeld Airport on the southern outskirts of Berlin is the last stop of the S-Bahn lines S9 and S45. From here you can not only fly on vacation, but also explore the vast fields and meadows between Rudow and Schoenefeld. Especially beautiful is the grassy Schuttberg Dorfblick, because from here you have a great view to the TV tower.Every 20 minutes take the lines S9 and S45 to the station Schönefeld. You leave the station to the north and first cross the tiny village center of Schönefeld. Shortly after, it goes out on wide fields and meadows.Partly living today on the old pastures Scottish highland cattle and rugged Pomeranian country sheep, who take care of the care of the open landscape. From the trail you can watch the peaceful animals. Then it goes up to the village view. Toward the south you can see the large area of the airport BER and wide, open fields to the horizon. In the north, on the other hand, you can see the high-rise buildings of Gropiusstadt and, far beyond, the silhouette of the TV tower. From the village view, it goes in a wide round over the fields and meadows back to the S-Bahn station Schönefeld.
