The first leg of your Alpine crossing takes you along the shores of Tegernsee into the mountains of the Mangfallgebirge. Here you hike along the Weißach to Wildbad Kreuth. Thanks to well-developed paths and little slope, the tour is perfect for immigrating in peace. If the 23-kilometer route is too long…
Does anyone happen to know what it looks like right now regarding corona. I come from NRW and would like to start this tour in August. Can you stay there in the accommodations, or are there stricter regulations again? LG
As long as you don't come from current risk areas, such as the Gütersloh or Warendorf districts, overnight stays in Bavaria, Austria and South Tyrol are no problem.
Incidentally: crossing the Alps is a great experience. As part of a guided tour, I walked from the Stubai Valley via the Hildesheimer Hütte…
My tour is so far planned and I'm ready to start! I'm very excited and full of anticipation 😌
Hello Angelique, I am reading that you are planning the tour to go in August.
I went the Way of St. James in Portugal and Spain last year - for the first time alone. And it was great because somehow managed, I was alone and still had a lot of connection to like-minded people if I wanted to. Unfortunately…
Regarding accommodation for 2 people: what can you recommend along the way that does not exceed 30 € for the room? Everything was much more expensive at booking.com
@Angelique Interesting, I plan to tour you in August too. What exactly have you planned for a route?
Stupid question, why do you go to Wildbadkreuth and then take the bus back later?
Does anyone know if the route can also be reversed? So from terzingen to tergernsee? Or are there sections that become difficult as a result?
Unfortunately, parking in gmund is no longer possible for the 7-day tour. The Oedbergalm is no longer allowed to offer long-term parking. We were able to park our car in Tegernsee at the hiking car park at the main station and pay via app.
