Fourth stage on the cross path, out of the Black Forest. "It's mätschigg" is my companion's motto for today. The day should be rainy, of all places in the most beautiful part of the Wutach Gorge. It then turns out a little differently and yet not, all in all it will be a slippery affair (hiked 08/07/2021).

The wetness did the photos good. So I could comfortably participate ;-)

Exciting story about Bad Boll and a really nice section of the Wutach Gorge. I have become even more economical with highlights, but it would have been better for me.

It's a shame that you had to struggle with rain and mud on this beautiful section - but this year it was only dry enough for the SWV to prepare the paths.

@Barbara: no reproach from me to the SWV! I am more of an advocate of the idea that everyone is responsible for what they think they can and what they do. However, appropriate information should then be provided for the preparation. There it might be a bit of a problem, less for the Wutach Gorge (I don

That was not taken as a reproach, but the year was simply very heavily rainy. Muddy roads still in August! I am very grateful to the helpers from the SWV for the path maintenance, the gorges in particular are a lot of work!

Yes, Barbara, you are right. And most of the time you don't even see the effort that goes into it.
