I've always wanted to cycle from Großburgwedel to Uelzen. Today was the day. Favorable SSE wind and off we went. Unfortunately, Komoot did not correctly record the first part of the route to Celle, it was of course not as the crow flies. But it was the most scenic part of the route. From Celle we only went along the B191 to Uelzen through endless forest sections and noisy car traffic. It was Friday and the traffic was enormous. It wasn't a pleasure. If you are looking for a real challenge you should do this trip on weekdays with N or NNW or NE wind. That would only be something for the very tough or pedelec riders, otherwise you’re going down. I tried to escape the B191 in various places, but each time it failed miserably on the rough terrain. Apart from these circumstances, the journey went quickly and here I have to say, the condition of the bike path along the B191 is a dream, no obstacles, great asphalt, the best I have ridden in a long time. So if you only have fun driving quickly without a lot of bike traffic (I was always alone), you should do this trip with the right WR but don't forget to listen to music !!!!

Track, route description, bike, tour dates, photos - we liked all of that very much, hence a like from us. But it's okay to say a word about the ICE memorial, otherwise the Komootler won't even know where you stopped. You can comment on the photos. 😉
