The name already suggests: You will definitely not suffer from thirst or hunger on this 195 kilometer lap. You pass more than 80 private breweries along the route and countless Franconian beer cellars invite you to take a long break. In addition to the pure culinary delights, you will also receive a lot of information about beer production and the traditional meaning of barley juice. The brewery and beer cellar tour takes you through the eastern Steigerwald, Franconian Switzerland, the Main and Regnitz valleys and their side valleys. The route can be divided into three or more stages. You are free to choose the starting point, this tour starts, for example, at the Ebermannstadt train station. From there you cycle north through the idyllic Leinleitertal. You cross smaller towns, colorful fields and of course you will pass plenty of places to stop for a break. There is a steady, gentle uphill ride on well-developed bike paths and side streets. The striking Sulzenstein awaits you on the banks of the Aufseß and from Königsfeld the route turns west. The descent on the serpentines of the famous Ellerbergstraße promises pure driving pleasure. The Göller brewery provides you with freshly tapped beer in Drosendorf before the Bamberg skyline appears in front of you. Hallstadt, which also has a connection to the rail network, is a good first stop. After Hallstadt you drive further west, cross the shimmering Main and cycle through the Steigerwald Nature Park. You reach the valley of the Rauhen Ebrach via two smaller hills that promise wonderful views. You follow its countless loops to where it flows into the Regnitz. There is a rustic ferry waiting for you near Pettstadt, which will bring you to the other bank with dry tires. You leave Hirschaid and the Main-Danube Canal behind you and can take a break in the Hallerndorfer Dorfkeller in the beautiful Aischtal. After 66 kilometers a day, you can spend the night in Pautzfeld, for example. Then you leave the flat Regnitz Valley and pedal through a colorful cultural landscape up to Rescuers. There are enough beer gardens on the way to quench your thirst. Accompanied by wonderful far-reaching views, you jet back into the Regnitz valley. It is worth stopping there in beautiful Forchheim with its Palatinate Museum. Then it goes a bit along the Wiesent in the Franconian Switzerland Nature Park. A last, crisp climb awaits you in a completely Swiss-like manner. At Ortspitz you can enjoy fantastic views over the landscape before you roar down into the Wiesenttal. Past the Nikl brewery you get back to Ebermannstadt, the starting point of the round tour. You can find a suggestion on how to divide the route into stages here: komoot.de/collection/1280334
