The aim of this tour was to climb the highest mountain in the southern Dolomites group, the Monte Grappa with a height of 1775 m. Accordingly, the tour only knew one direction in the first part - UP. It was comforting that the 25 km ascent from the foot of the mountain with 8% - 12% turned out to be moderate to slightly ambitious and was therefore a lot of fun despite the exertion.
On the mountain there is a monumental memorial erected in the 1930 by the fascists for the thousands of soldiers who died in the First World War.
On the descent we got into the rain again, which was also due to the fact that the starting point of the tour was shifted to noon because we literally couldn't get out of the quark in the morning due to the tour ailments that were slowly occurring 😉. Nevertheless, the serpentine descent was an absolute highlight.
This tour is highly recommended for descendants and gets the highest rating of 5 stars from me.

Hello beo, that is no longer part of the Transalp, we are not quite as fit to go that far. I am currently in Borso del Grappa with other colleagues. We go on tours from here. I can only recommend this area to you.
Greetings to the beautiful Palatinate 👍
