Our destination today is the glass church in Glinzig. When planning the route, we also included the nearby Koselmühle as a highlight and supply point. It starts via Sedlitz, Dörrwalde, Kunersdorf, Lubochowmühle, past the “Wilde Möhre”, Casel, Koschendorf to Glinzig.Shortly after the wild carrot, it made a violent bang out of nowhere. No hunter, no firecracker from the party guests from the carrot, but the hose from my tour guide's front wheel just burst. Now comes my performance. After half an hour it could go on. Learned is learned. Thank you Erich. The small glass church in Glitzing is special in terms of construction and use. The glass architectural style was originally designed for the 1995 Federal Garden Show in Cottbus. It is used by believers of both denominations. A few more snapshots, then it's off to the table. The Koselmühle - one of the most popular excursion destinations in the region around Cottbus, they say.Today we want to find out for ourselves whether that is true. The history of the mill is exciting. It goes back to the year 1655. As early as 1931, the mill started a small catering business with the sale of plinsen and cakes. During that time, the players have certainly changed many times, but products made according to ancient recipes often promise great enjoyment. The chronic lack of staff obviously did not spare the mill either. Self-service can also have advantages. Price / performance ratio fits, it is nice to sit and we are sufficiently full of the delicious roulade. We moved coffee for dessert to Wüstenhain. It's only a few kilometers. We then drive past the Gräbendorfer See through the Altdöbern Castle Park to Großräschen. Have another cup of coffee and cake at Bubner's baker and continue over the Reppister Höhe to Senftenberg.Except for the small glitch, it was a nice tour. Good bike paths almost all the time, lots of new discoveries. A nice vacation day.
A very nice bike ride and an interesting description. Thank you 👍🏼
