Thursday steel wheel round in the south of Halle. The goal was the Wallendorfer See. In doing so, some paths were covered that I had not yet known or that I could no longer remember. I am always amazed at how much landscape is possible in the immediate vicinity of the city.
Due to the flood we got (of course) wet feet in the Elsteraue in the Gerwische area. But when do you drive through "puddles" in which fish swim? I had a lot of fun. Many thanks to the passengers and to Stefan for the beer.

I was lucky when I drove there a week before, everything was still dry, and crossing the water is also fun
    Nice tour that you did.

    Thank you and right, Udo.
Water crossings are fun if the following rules are observed:
    1) let someone drive away who can swim to explore the depth,
    2) do not stand in the water and dismount,
    3) if possible do not crank to keep your feet dry,
    4) do not drive through too fast (splash water).

I guess I didn't pay attention to point 3 at the last waterhole. Kalihalde, it would be nice if you told us about these important rules of conduct BEFORE next time.
Incidentally, we were lucky: you could see at the edges that the water must have been much higher recently, there would have been no way through. At least not in compliance with the rules of passage.

I actually wanted to drive to Wallendorf today. Thanks for your pictures. Saved me from having to wash my bike. 🙂
