The first leg of the Koasa Trail is a perfect hike to prepare you for the next few days. Via alpine meadows and along venerable chapels we ascend to the ridge of the Niederkaiser. From there you hike leisurely downhill to the stage destination Griesenau with a great view of the Wilder Kaiser.
