MonacoTrail and MitWandern 2021 went for a hike.

While walking I noticed: this tour is probably unique in Germany: we start on the banks of the largest lake, walk through (small) vineyards and (larger) orchards gradually up to the heights of the meadows and pastures, after a few hours we reach pre-alpine terrain . Normal for the rest of the Alps, but

    Nice tour!

Thank you and your colleagues again for organizing this great event. During the trip across Lake Constance (not with the ferry as suggested, but with the scheduled boat) I really realized how cool this idea is and how great to be part of it!

Impressive despite the rain and, as always, wonderfully described. Thanks for the honest words about the last pictures - reminds me of the work of the deserving Dieter Wieland. 👍🏻

Karin speaks from my soul. I also had these thoughts on the drive to my first stage.

Lotte hits another point: Your descriptions have often provided me with food for thought. And a suitable attribute is commendable for you too.

The name space capsules for cars is so apt that it almost hurts.

@ Wanderfisch: that with the stairs was interesting. Apparently, this really beautiful path was once laid out in a rather complex (and easy-to-walk) manner. It is not really available everywhere, which is possibly due to a lack of demand? That would be a shame. In any case, it suited us very well the way it was!

@ Karin: I'm glad that, despite your concerns in the meantime, you also went on your really nice tour. A lot of beautiful things have come together and we will be busy for a while to appreciate it appropriately and to bring it into shape

@Lotte: the comparison with Dieter Wieland is of course more than flattering. On the other hand, it is also a little depressing how over the years all appeals for moderation have largely gone unheeded. I think it's okay to show something on it (without becoming too self-righteous 😉). And I am glad that

@ Jens: as always, thanks for your benevolent and critical accompaniment! - At the end of the day, I was a bit surprised at how effective our route suggestions were and had relied even more on the participants' curiosity and local knowledge. You have a lot of responsibility ... On the other hand, going

That would have been a tour that I could have imagined if it had worked for me on the three days of action. (Wasn't it even planned to go to Lindenberg at first?) I hope you were able to enjoy the hike from above despite a lot of water.

I think it's great what you have put together in the truest sense

@ Hanswuscht: thank you for accompanying 😊. Maybe you can really put together a few nice routes for your marathon hikes, e.g. just go through Lindau - Oberstaufen?

Yes, actually Lindenberg was planned, but it has less tourist infrastructure and there was no longer any quarter. But after we also went

I could actually imagine walking around Lake Constance in one go. But whether something will ever come of it ... let's see 🤔

Thanks to you, I definitely have a wealth of new ideas 😉👍🏻 thanks again
