The Mühlenweg in Kürten is one of the 24 Bergisch forays. From the parking lot of the Splash Bad, it goes on well-marked paths through numerous small hamlets around the main town. After a few minutes we see the beautiful Andreas Chapel in Biesenbach. We continue to Delling, here we take a look into the small church and marvel at the unusual ceiling lighting. The inn is unfortunately not yet open. We leave it behind and continue to the Schultheismühle and then to the Olper Mühle. A detour to the Olperhof is a must, after all, we want to buy honey there. On the large display board along the way, we learn a lot about the history of the mills and the lives of the people. Via Offermannsberg we hike back into the Sülztal, at Waldmühle we cross the main road and go up into the forest. We take a break in front of the St. Johann Baptist church and enjoy an ice cream. With renewed momentum we grab the last part of the Mühlenweg.
