Super beautiful and, above all, scary, sharp images - a feast for the eyes.👌👍 In this area we (my two mountaineering buddies) climbed the Wetterhorn a few years ago (1986) as an entry tour. Our goal was then the EIGER MITTELLEGI GRAT. Unfortunately, the weather changed completely at that time, so we decided to go to Valais (Zermatt), as the weather there was ideal. MATTERHORN as a replacement tour was announced. However, we were not alone in making this decision. (Hörnlihütte totally booked this weekend. So we climbed up to the ROTHORNHÜTTE, also near Zermatt. ↗️🇨🇭. The next day, we started out at night (3:00 am) to the 'ZINALROTHORN' 4221m !!! Even a bit more difficult than the Matterhorn / NORMAL WAY, as there are no fixed ropes on the 'Zinalrothorn'. 'Summit cross after difficult crampon climbing (3mm ice cover at night) in solid rock - safely, but totally broken.' . Geb

Thank you very much for your report. Komoot didn't record all the routes for me. Would have liked to have made the short hike from Jungfraujoch to Mönchsberghütte available. That was a dream to run.I was in Zermatt three years ago. Since I do not have the training 🏋️‍♀️ for the high mountains, I reached my limits with the hike to the Gornergrat😅. The 1.8. will be remembered with joy👍👍😀
