Suffering and joy often hang together ... even when cycling. We were able to experience this firsthand today.Yesterday still headwind and end of the world ... today fantastic weather, fantastic bike route and even tailwind. Things can change so fast.

We started our day with a breakfast in the Wandererheim in Maribor. Who knows these homes knows what I'm talking about. These are not comparable with the German youth hostels. More the way they were practiced decades ago. A home where affordable accommodation could be spent, where everyone will find a kitchen they can use ... a place of refuge that is a refuge for weary hikers. Our youth hostels are already small hotels. That's how one can describe Scandinavian hikers' homes. But one thing does not fit into the concept, namely the price. We paid a slender 73 euros for the night, whereby we did not lend ourselves more auspicious manner sheets, which would have cost another 20 euros, but our sleeping bags for it took.

But that was all butt when we started in the morning direction Nykoeping. The route on Lolland was not spectacular ... flat and a lot of roads past. That changed after Nykoeping on Falster. We reached the sea and drove one of the most beautiful bike paths until just before Stubbekoepping. Always along the sea through the pine forests. It was fabulous. Most of the time the bike path was on our well-known gravel roads, but they were good to drive.

The whole thing was stopped by a permanent tailwind, so that we reached our planned route shortly after noon. Of course that was too short for us and we just drove on. That's just the advantage of cycling. We reached our campsite around 17:00 after 70km. Of course, not a day goes by without a mishap. Shortly before the finish, our navigation left the official route. We relied on Komoot and literally landed in the pampas on the green field. Since we drive too far, we continue the way. After 3 km jungleartiger meadow crossing we came back to civilization. You do not need that more often, but at least you have something to tell .....
