Second day and the Danish dream continues. At least as far as the weather was concerned we could say that at breakfast. It greeted us with a blue sky and a pleasant 20 degrees. What more do you want. We got up earlier today because we have to get our ferry to Aero at 14:20. There are only 3 crossings and since we had 17 kilometers left on Aero, 19:30 would have been too late for us.
So it went on full of thirst for action and who says it ... It did not happen this morning. Only ingenious landscapes and a always bright blue shining sea accompanied us in the direction of Fynshavn. Only the very undulating landscape demanded us more and more in the temperatures and the recurrent gravel roads that the Danes apparently like so much. Sometimes these can be very unruly in driving, especially when fresh gravel comes along.
So we were at the ferry terminal at 12:20 ... too early. What do you do then? One makes lunch break, puts on the swimming trunks and lies down in the water. Gorgeous ....The ferry drove on time and it could not have been better until the conductor arrived. I had hoped that cup would pass us, but it was not meant to be. Shortly after the arrival, he appeared and plowed through the ranks like a berserker. For a short while the credit card and just 91 Euro changed for us 3 the owner. Madness ... prices are here. Well, it is also true for the return of Aero, but a few euros less would have done it.
Aero is on the best side. The landscape was beyond typing, it was really fun to drive through the hills. The temperatures increased again and as we had eradicated our water supplies of just 8 liters just before the finish. The evening is briefly described. Tent up, take a shower and eat fast. Today Lena cooked for us. There was chili con carne with dessert melon. This South Seas has cast us under its spell today .....
South Seas? These are the Danish Alps - 1630 meters difference in altitude 🤪
