On the second day of the fair, the Cycle Union invited to a gravel ride. And with all the trimmings: single trails, gravel paths, meadow, up, down, thorns, nettles, bridges and tunnels. Only a few meters south would have been the only really great corner, Barnführer Holz near Sandkrug. Bitter that Cycle Union didn't show you that. It is the starting point for MTB and Grävelrader in the Oldenburg area, and you would see the area with completely different eyes.
I recommend that you do the tour. It was really nice and varied.
Unfortunately, the area you recommended was too far away. With a social ride that takes place with customers and partners during a trade fair, there are always different parameters to consider than with a private leisure trip;)
I have to agree with Diesel. You left out the beautiful parts. It wouldn't have been any other way ...
Before I did the tour, I didn't expect anything really surprising either. But it is actually very varied and leads to great corners.
It's worth doing.
And yes, more is always possible ;-)
