Exciting views, lots of nature and cultural monuments worth seeing are waiting for you in beautiful Bad Homburg. This circular route connects all Bad Homburg districts with one another over a length of 24 kilometers. The spa town lies at the foot of the Taunus and has excellent rail connections, for example via the U2 and S5 to Frankfurt. The Bad Homburg circular route runs mostly on paved paths with only slight inclines. This makes it suitable for the whole family. Since it crosses other bike paths in different places, you can also ride sections or combine them with other routes to make a longer tour. The circular route begins in the south of Bad Homburg, very close to the Ober-Eschbach underground station. Over quiet bike paths in the fields you get to the small fir forest, drive through the Landgravial garden landscape and shortly afterwards you reach the Gothic House, which also houses a museum. From the Kirdorfer Feld you can enjoy a fantastic view of the Frankfurt skyline and on the following piece you drive through a dense forest. From here it is only a stone's throw to the Bad Homburg Kurpark - a small detour that is definitely worthwhile. It is also not far from here to the Landgrave Castle. Between the two parks of the Kurpark and the Schlosspark you will find the Bad Homburg city center with the popular Luisenstraße. Many shops and cafés invite you to explore here. If you want to stop by, you will definitely find it here. Before you finally get back to the starting point, one last loop takes you over fields and through orchards to the easternmost district of Bad Homburg, Ober-Erlenbach. At the destination of your tour, you have the choice of getting on the subway at the nearby train station or using one of the many other cycle paths to get to Frankfurt, for example.
