This 190-kilometer circular route runs through the entire RheinMain Regional Park. It describes a large tour around the metropolis of Frankfurt and shows you how much green in the form of forests and fields can be found here. This tour focuses on the northern section of the circular route, which runs in the Taunus. These 60 kilometers are particularly beautiful, because here you can enjoy unforgettable views of the Rhine-Main plain in the midst of unspoilt nature. The Frankfurt skyline is also often presented from different angles. The tour starts right at the Hattersheim train station and can therefore be easily reached by train. After driving through the Krifteler Ziegeleipark you will find yourself in wide fields and enjoy the first views. You will soon reach the Main-Taunus Arboretum. The green area is more than an ordinary park. There used to be a field airfield at this location, today trees and shrubs with a huge biodiversity grow and flourish here. Information boards clearly explain the different plantings. On the way you continue, you will touch the suburbs of Oberursel and Bad Homburg and keep passing stations in the regional park. You will notice, among other things, the many pebbles on the seats. These are seating in organic shapes that have always been placed in particularly beautiful locations with unique lines of sight. The signposting is excellent throughout and also points out sights off the bike path as well as possible combinations with other themed routes. The tour ends in Bad Vilbel-Gronau not far from the train station.
