The mill route rightly bears its name. On its route it runs along a large number of different mills, which have had a lasting impact on the history of the town of Wegberg. Our mill route began at the Holtmühle parking lot. Over 42 kilometers, many of the formerly 25 watermills in the urban area of Wegberg reveal themselves with all their beauty: from the Holtmühle to the Schrafmühle, Molzmühle, Ramacher Mühle, Lohmühle, Bischofsmühle, Bockenmühle, Tüschenbroichermühle, oil mill, etc.Based on Norbert's tour 2 days ago, today we had to ride the mill route that had been planned for a long time. By the way, the mill route is very well signposted so that you can hardly get lost. Shortly before the end of the tour, however, we caught a rather muddy hiking trail that was completely unsuitable for our city bikes. It was pretty slippery through the mud and over roots. Later we saw that a parallel path was much easier to drive on. But the tour itself is a dream. We haven't ridden such a beautiful route for a long time. In addition, hardly anyone was there on Tuesday.Info: dasauge.de/-artkonzeptkoerner/die-wegberger-m%C3%BChlen-tour
You brought great photos with you! 👍I have to remember the round.
The thatched roof houses impressed me. I didn't expect that here in North Rhine-Westphalia. I only know something like that from North Frisia. Very nice.
Very nice tour through a beautiful landscape! And as always ... top photos 👌😀
I've been in the area so many times and obviously missed so many beautiful things. The route is now at the top of my planning. Thanks for that. 😀
Wow, the photos are really awesome. We do the tour too, definitely 👍🏼 at this point a big thank you to you, Willi, for taking the trouble to share your great tours. We have already done a lot of tours of yours, always great, always a grace 😊

Wonderful mill tour and a piece of technology history
This is also a beautiful area, not far from the Meinberg National Park 👍
Thanks @Willigipfel. Many of the mills are still functionalExactly @Chloe, that's why we have to go there again and combine both 😊
A very impressive tour. I saved it directly.
Many of these mills offer good gastronomy. There are also some quaint stop-offs along the way, e.g. in Schwaam (Riethdachhäuser) Haus Timmermanns.Very well attended at the weekend.
