Today an interesting tour for Father's Day. After an appointment in Leipzig, we didn't want to go back to the Ore Mountains just like that. The start and finish for today's tour was the parking lot below the 🏰 Gnandstein Castle. From the parking lot right up to the castle. Since the GPS reception is very poor here, Komoot went crazy at the castle, but despite the rain, they got bratwurst 🌭 from the grill. We continued on the Julius-Mohsen-Weg to the castle 🏰 Kohren, to the church ⛪ St. Gangolf. After wonderful views continue to Gut Kohren-Sahlis. Here there is 1x the manor house Sahlis and 1x the manor house Kohren-Sahlis, both imposing and having something, but overall in poor condition. After a rest at the linden pond with lime trees, we went back to the parking lot.But before that we admired the manor with manor house and the Schwind pavilion in Rüdigsdorf. From the desert grove we had an impressive view of the and Gnandstein Castle.🤠⚒✌
Chapeau, nice tour and that with the scary weather 👍 Surely there weren't many hikers on the way
The ☔ rain was different, from little to much to nothing. Some hikers have already been on the way, even in tails. When the weather is good, the round really goes.
Yes, I like to think so and since we haven't been there yet, it's also on the to-do list. Thanks for the info 👏

At the market fountain opposite, the Kohren-Sahlis tourist information center has flyers with all the sights. There is a lot more to discover in the place.
Can you hike this route with small children (6 years) or is it too steep or narrow places / sections?
I would say suitable for children. You just have to see if the length of the tour is right. You can also do the castles 🏰 and Kohren-Sahlis. However, there is also a maze at the Lindenteich.
Ok, thanks for the info 😃
