The route initially runs from Schaumburg Castle - Veorgsturm with a view of the Weser Valley and the Weser Mountains - on the panoramic hiking trail 5 lower forest edge path to Rhodental, now we follow hiking trail 7 or XW Weserberglandweg through the beautiful snowy ground, Höllen Bach to Langenfeld. Today we leave out the worthwhile Schillathöhle and walk eastwards to the Blutbach spring. Straight on the path on the steep slope of the Südwehe. The most beautiful rear part is from 1.2. - 15.7. Closed because of bird calls (eagle owl).
After a piece of forest path, a path covered with a tree trunk always follows the steep slope of the Südwehe or Dachtelfeld to Wellerngrund. We are now back on Forststr. That comes from Dachtelfeld and follow the 7 or black triangle to Hohenstein, stairway, Blutbachtal. After Hessisch Oldendorf to the train station. From the Hohenstein beautiful views over the Süntel and into the.
Weser Valley. Lippe mountains and Klüt.
The route has mostly beautiful nature trails

The hike can be shortened by descending at the Blutbachquelle directly on the creek in the Blutbachtal to the Baxmannbaude. Alternatively, the hike can also be started from Rhodental with (on-call bus) from Hessisch Oldendorf train station. The route is really worthwhile in every season, especially because of the views and beautiful nature trails. If the Hell Bach has more water, it is worth taking a detour to Lower Saxony's highest natural waterfall below Langenfeld Pensionsstr. Below the mill. Alternatively, the route via Paschenburg Wesergebirgskammweg is very nice on a nature trail and very rewarding. Also recommended as a circular hike from the Rhodental car park for motorists.
It is approached from Hanover by metronome via Elze to Rinteln. Call bus 812 9.55am from Rinteln Bf to Schaumburg Rosenthal, via Infothek Lemgo Tel. 05261667350, register a regular taxi on Saturdays, Monday to Friday regular bus. Return Saturday 04/16/2006 on-call bus from Barksen or Nordwestbahn every hour at 17:17 from Hessisch Oldendorf
