I had planned the tour through the beautiful Lautertal for a long time.
We started near Gomadingen, at the source of the Lauter, at a horse farm.
The path is very entertaining through the valley, always near the small river.
The further you go down the valley, the more castle ruins you discover; in the lower third of our lap you feel like you come across a new ruin for every kilometer covered.
The turning point was then Hayingen, back on field and forest paths past the Nebelhöhle to Lichtenstein Castle.
It was a really nice tour through a varied landscape, we liked it very much 😁

Nice tour! As always, a nice report with pictures. How do you transport your e-bikes?

    Thank you Haikibeiki 😁
We have a carrier for the towbar from Thule den Easyfolt (in use for three years) I'm super satisfied, both e-bikes fit well on it 👍

Hello Micha, one more question about transport. How do you protect the contacts of the display and battery? The e-bike does not tolerate rain on the rear rack, for example, because all the electrical connections are not well protected.

We have rubber caps for the contacts that we put on when we wash the bikes. These are bombproof even at 500 kilometers and at the highway speed 😁
For the handlebars, we use bags that complete the handlebars. enclose, one half is firmly sewn, which comes over the display, the second half has a Velcro fastener, in addition to lashing, 2 more Velcro straps are sewn on (across) so that you lash the bag tightly around the handlebar.
I also thought about it a lot beforehand, hence the longer description 😉
Both searched, found + ordered via Amazon

Perfect! Thank you for the good explanation. I've already thought about how the transport will be safe.
Also have a Thule carrier, which is perfect! 🙂
