This fantastic Tour takes you through the picturesque Sendertal. This tour of nearly 16 kilometers is bursting with fantastic views and includes beautiful hiking trails. The starting point is at the Kaserl car park in Senderstal. For this walk you do need a good physical condition and a certain pace. You start with a tough climb along the unused Salfeins Alm to the idyllic Salfeinssee. On windless summer days, the huge Kalkkögel massif is reflected in the water. A perfect place for a short break. The path goes up, but the slope becomes a bit flatter. You are almost on the 2,170 meter high Grieskogel where you can really enjoy the beautiful panorama! The rest of the route you will also be rewarded with great views. The most beautiful part of this tour is yet to come: the ridge path from the Grieskogel to the Schaflegerkogel. You walk here on a narrow path over the ridge and have a great view of the surrounding peaks to the left and right. At the Kreuzjoch the path then takes you to the Senderstal where you can visit the Kemater Alm. The cozy restaurant has a sunny terrace. The last part of this Tour goes slowly downhill on the Sendersweg back to the starting point Kaserl.
