Where better to go on a water cycle path than to Wasserburg? From Rosenheim you cycle on the Inn cycle path along the west bank of the river to the north. After a long break in the beautiful moated castle with a tour of the old town, you can choose the east side of the bank for the way back and enjoy a new perspective of the river.Always with the Inn in view, you start your tour in Rosenheim. Often you are only a few meters away from the water. Before the village of Attel you cross the river of the same name, which flows into the Inn here. In the village you can take a look at a former Benedictine monastery. Then you step away from your loyal companion and roll over fields and small villages to Wasserburg. This involves several short climbs, but you can take a long break right away. After the rest, you can decide whether you want to return on the same path or on the other side of the bank - alternatively, you can also get on the train here. On the route on the east side you have a few more meters to climb. For this you leave Wasserburg to the south. Only the last section of the path leads back along the banks of the Inn. Before that, you can enjoy the green fields and the picturesque villages on your way back to Rosenheim.
