Breathtaking views and a little scrambling await you on this hike; You should definitely be sure-footed and have a head for heights and also bring some alpine experience with you. As a reward, you will receive a wonderful tour in a spectacular setting. It starts in Oberstdorf, which you can easily reach by train. And then it goes uphill - right past the famous ski jumping hills. After a good 400 meters of altitude you will reach the Seealpe, where you can take a first refreshment break. Because now it goes further up.Over the Rossbichel it goes uphill towards Rubihorn. Towards the end it gets steeper and you have to use your hands to support you. Steel ropes defuse the rocky passages. In any case, this requires maximum concentration from you. You slowly work your way to the summit of the Rubihorn, which rewards you with wonderful views as far as Tyrol. Now it goes back down on a partly insured route. On your way you can enjoy beautiful views of the two Gaisalp lakes and a little later hike past the spectacular waterfall of the Gaisalpbach, which feeds from the Lower Gaisalpsee. Here the Allgäu shows itself again from its most beautiful and wild side. It continues steadily downhill on beautiful paths with great views past the Gaisalpe mountain inn until you come back to Oberstdorf.
