April 28, 2021
Starting at the Queens Arms Pub or close by, this walk starting in the tucked away village of Bleadon will take you on a short but steep climb up through the beautiful Hellenge Hill Nature Reserve. This site managed by Avon Wildlife Trust is a haven for wildlife. You'll enjoy panoramic views of the levels and over the Severn estuary towards Brean Down. You'll then walk back into Bleadon passing by the lovely Bleadon Farm Shop cafe where you can take a pit stop for an ice cream or piece of cake. Next it's onto Purn Hill another nature reserve with great views and lots of wildlife to be enjoyed. Following this you return back to the Queens Arms pub in the village of Bleadon.
