Cross the border quickly! This route departs from Sittard in the direction of Elsloo, cross the Maas and reach the land of chips and abbey beers. There are a few wonderful asphalt strips waiting for you in Belgium. This route is ideal for pedal knights who want to continue on the flat. After you have completed the first 40 kilometers, you cross to the Heuvelland. You cycle a short distance through Maastricht and reach the rolling South Limburg landscape via the Oude Molenweg.Where do you warm your calves better than on the Kuitenberg; the first real climb you get for yourself. Via the Kuitenberg you reach Berg en Terblijt and you descend the Geulhemmerberg and then immediately brave the steep incline percentages of the Brakkeberg. This is the most difficult climb on this trail. When you are at the top, you descend via the Sibbergrubbe towards Valkenburg, a good time for a coffee stop! You do not leave Valkenburg without cycling a real unknown South Limburg pearl. From the valley of Valkenburg you climb the beautiful Goudsberg. The view here is definitely worth a photo. After you've passed the Goudsberg, the serious climbs are over. Slowly you descend towards the Grensmaasvallei, where you slowly prepare your legs for the final through gently sloping farmlands ... You make a short trip to Germany to top off the acid in your legs with the Bergstrasse in Hillensberg. After that, nothing stands in the way between you and a delicious cup of specialty beer on the Sittard market. Cheers!
