The Sellaronda over the four legendary Dolomite passes - Passo Pordoi / Pordoijoch, Passo Campolongo / Campolongopass, Passo Gardena / Grödner Joch and Passo Sella / Sellajoch - is considered to be the most beautiful racing bike round tour in the Dolomites, probably even in the Alps. The most popular way to circumnavigate the Sella is to go counter-clockwise. This system is also followed, for example, by the Sellaronda Bike Day, which takes place twice a year. We recommend the opposite direction here. This results in completely different impressions and beautiful perspectives on the imposing landscape along the panoramic route. Of course, you shouldn't cycle against the current on Sellaronda Bike Day.Clockwise you have the legendary four passes in front of you in the following order (with the inclines to be mastered and the length of the ascent): Passo Sella (2,234 meters) - 780 meters in altitude / 12 kilometersPasso Gardena (2,120 meters) - 310 meters in altitude / 5.6 kilometersPasso Campolongo (1,879 meters) - 350 meters in altitude / 6.4 kilometersPasso Pordoi (2,241 meters) - 640 meters in altitude / 9.1 kilometersInformation on the dates of the Sellaronda Bike Day and other events can be found here: sellarondabikeday.com
