Since I only discovered Tegel in the last few years, this time I wanted to drive through the Tegler Forest. In places that I had neglected so far.Since I still had to run a few errands, I didn't drive directly, but with a small loop across the street jungle. It was therefore only relaxed from kilometer 16.When it went into the Tegler Forest, it was over again at 19.9 km. It cracked and that was it.The rear cassette of my XT gearshift gave up the ghost after around 7,000 KM. Just because. So I drove back on the most elegant route and then into the workshop. There they are currently trying to help the people with a lot of spit and luck, as no one can deliver spare parts anymore.Result: I am desperately looking for a replacement set:Shimano chainring Deore XT FC-T781 48 teeth for chain guard black 1xShimano chainring Deore XT FC-M780 26 teeth 4 holes 10-speed 64 mm 2x (for chain guard)Shimano Deore XT chainring 36 teeth 10-speed 104 mm 4-arm 2 x (for chain guard)SHIMANO cassette Deore Xt 10 compartment 2 xIf someone has a tip which retailer cannot deliver in six months, but immediately, always give me the tip !!!!!!!

    Ouch, that sounds bad 😳
Does your workshop also use parts you've brought with you? It looks like the parts are still in stock online (different shops).

You can easily change online and cassette or chainrings yourself, simply order the appropriate cassette puller for € 10

Oh, you poor thing, I'll keep my fingers crossed that you can get the spare parts quickly. Ducky without a bike is not possible.

Hi Guys,At least I wanted to get in touch with a status update here:First of all, I would like to thank you for all the encouragement and good advice that I have received over the past few days. They made me not give up hope. For the last few days I've only been looking, looking and looking.First of all: There are of course Shimano 10/3 (= 30 gears) shifting components. With XT components it looked and is currently looking very bad.Sayings like:
"What do you want? Yes, me too"
"What do you dream at night?"
"Do you actually know what's going on here?"
Are still the nicest comments that I have been able to listen to in the last few days.
By the way, my search was global and was not limited to Germany.
And, when I thought I had come closer to one of the coveted XT components (the dealer had the goods available and could send them via express), it was again the wrong size.To explain: I drive the following wreaths in front: 48/36/26
Back: 11-32. Not 11-34 or 11-36. I drive 11-32. This means that the rear cassette has 11 teeth on the smallest sprocket and 32 teeth on the largest.

At the front, the largest ring has 48 teeth and the smallest 26.
That in the right combination leads to the fact that I (with muscle power and not with motor) z. B. drive the new Kantstraße with up to 50 km / h (30th gear) and otherwise come up the chunk (1 gear). The number of gears is not the decisive factor, but the translation matrix. So, just the right cassette at the back and the right wreath leaves at the front. And the whole thing in XT quality, please, without compromise !!!!!!

And I don't mean to say that this is the optimal combination. It is the translation matrix that I use to best drive for my purposes. It's not about anything else. Use the best for yourself. Without compromises.

XT is not the same as XT. In the end, it always depends on the driver. Because this brings the power to the pedals.
To cut a long story short: this is not feasible in Berlin. Not if I need the parts IMMEDIATELY. Not so easily on the Internet. I researched for days and had to make a lot of phone calls. Unless I compromise. And that's exactly what I don't want.In short, I have most of the pieces together now. My workshop itself has almost nothing to do with it.It will take a while. However, I can finally see light again at the end of the tunnel!

Your chain ring parts seem to be available on ebay.de. Have a look. They are new and some within Germany. If you can't find them contact clivelap@gmx.com as I can't share via komoot.

Oh no, you still don't have all the pieces together? What a stupid thing, I'll keep my fingers crossed that you'll soon get everything.
