When you think of Tyrol, the mountains and the animals living there, you immediately see cows and (slightly higher) chamois in front of you. But did you know that there are also many beautiful, brightly colored butterflies? No? Then you should definitely take a butterfly safari in the beautiful Brandenberger Tal.More than 800 different species of these cheerful flutterers live in the valley. Your search starts in front of the gate of Gasthof Kaiserhaus. First you go uphill to the Oberer Kaiserboden and the Brandalm. You immediately notice how beautiful and peaceful it is above. The perfect place for butterflies. Take a good look around!Via the Trauersteig you arrive at the mouth of the Weißach, where you slowly turn around and start walking back to where you came from. The walking tour now runs along the river. It is gradually getting narrower and - oh yes, we forgot to tell you - suddenly you are in the middle of the impressive Kaiserklamm. The hike is concluded with imposing rock formations, wild running water and perfectly constructed footpaths, bridges and tunnels. An experience for the whole family. And because all explorers have earned a treat after such a trip, you also go to the traditional Kaiserhaus.Tip: To make sure you see the butterflies, it is best to take this hike between the end of May and the beginning of September. But the butterflies can be seen fastest from mid-June to mid-August. Good luck!
