You can expect unforgettable views on the way to the top of the Gratlspitz. The route is nearly five kilometers long and requires some certainty of walking, but it is still a great experience for the whole family.First you go by car from Brixlegg via Zimmermoos to Berggasthof Holzalm. From there you continue on foot. Right at the start you will pass the Holzalm, which tries to tempt you with all kinds of delicacies, but you will also be able to enjoy them later - you will also pass here at the end of the tour. You start a hike to the top on a continuously ascending mountain path. First through the forest, then along creeping pines to the "Ernarast", where the final sprint to the 1,899 meter high mountain peak begins. It is famous for its unrestricted view all around. You not only see the highest mountain in Kufstein, the Großer Galtenberg, but also many other peaks, from the Karwendel to the Hohe Tauern. In total there are 26 church towers at your feet and you can count up to 800 mountain peaks. At least if you have the time for that. Then you walk back via the same route. Tip: if you want to enjoy a very special spectacle on the mountain top, you should hike here at sunrise.
